So how is this different from all the other weight management programmes out there?
Well for a kick-off it’s not about counting calories or fad foods or dieting. Unlike a lot of programmes, we start with you, your attitude and where your head is and then support you to make small realistic changes that you can sustain. There will always be some small actions for you to take as that is what will make the difference.
One of the first things you do in this programme is find out more about what kind of eater you are. This makes it easier
to understand what’s going on in your head and what the battles are.
If managing weight was easy and relied on willpower only, most of us would be stick insects. It’s not that simple. For a whole variety of reasons, despite the fact that very few of us were born overweight many of us do put on weight over time.
Once you’ve worked out what kind of eater you are and what needs to change, you’ll spend a few days recording what you eat and drink and I mean really eat and drink and how you
feel after eating food.
How long does the
It is an initial 10 weeks then you get access to the programme over a year. This lets you revisit aspects of the programme and continue to make the changes you have started and need to keep doing until they are new habits.
What am I expected to do?
We ask you to set aside about 10 minutes most days to look at the programme and watch a short video then answer some questions. Some of the questions ask you to commit to some action.
This programme is about making changes so agreeing to take some action then doing this are what will make the difference.
